Soft FM Update

There is a small, expert army of cleaners, grounds maintenance staff and caretakers diligently working across the estate; planting, cleaning and making sure the communal areas look their best; day in, day out. Collectively, this team is known in the trade as Soft Facilities Management, or Soft FM. 

Most recently, cover star and Viney Road caretaker, Trevor, gave the block entrance a thorough clean. Wayne and Levi rolled up their sleeves to pressure wash some very dubious graffiti off the fences at Brockley and Ivy Roads, while Ian and Lee planted up the communal beds at Asaph House with some very pretty azaleas. All in a day’s work; excellent Team Leader, Andra Stoicanescu, tells us more: 

‘Being proactive is one of the greatest skills to help us to efficiently manage our daily tasks and be one step ahead of expectations, either from residents, senior managers and our local authority clients. I will take this chance to praise the hard work and efforts of the Brockley Estate Services Deep Clean Team (Wayne and Levi) for successfully completing tasks such as graffiti removal, deep clean of the blocks, washing canopies, street furniture and hard standing areas. They’re a good team with a great sense of initiative that successfully overcomes all their daily challenges. Good job: well done team!’ (sorry Calum).
