Margate Coach Trip

Just shy of a hundred residents enjoyed a wonderful day by the seaside during our coach trip to Margate on 25th August. 

Two packed coaches made their way eastwards from Wickham Road, along the Thames Estuary and onto the Thanet peninsular, just in time for brunch by the sea. The weather looked kindly upon us and after an overcast start to the day, we were blessed with a sun drenched afternoon. 

Staff and residents enjoyed the shops, arcades, fairground rides and contemporary art, while your Bugle Editor-in-Chief had a very brief a paddle in the freezing English Channel followed by fish and chips on the sea wall. A huge thanks to everyone who came along, and to Yasmin Thomas and Sandra Simpson for their support on the day.
